COLD SUNDAY IN MARCH

COLD SUNNY SUNDAY. PLAYING WITH DESIGN OF  BLOG AGAIN. SO EASY TO WASTE TIME BUT SO ENJOYABLE.  ASKED BOB  HOW COLD IT IS OUTSIDE AND HE SAID NOT COLD BUT CHILLY.  HE SAYS 40 AND WINDY. I WOKE UP EARLY AND PUT MY GLASSES ON AND READ SOME OF MAZIE DOBBS BOOK AND THEN FELL BACK ASLEEP. GOT UP AND BOB FIXED BACON AND EGGS AND INSISTED I EAT THEM BECAUSE THERE WAS ONLY TWO EGGS. I AM NOT READING EAT MY WORDS READING WOMEN'S LIVES THROUGH THE COOKBOOKS THEY WROTE BY JANET THEOPHANO. THIS IS REALLY A ENJOYABLE BOOK.Eat My Words: Reading Women's Lives Through the Cookbooks They Wrote







I want to someday read these books. my question is am i wasting time by reading so much.
am i missing out on life. is this part of my depression.

BEAUTIFUL RING.



WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF THIS RING WHO WORE IT AND HOW DID IT END UP AT SHOPGOODWILL.  SO MANY QUESTIONS. I CAN IMAGING A DASHING GENTLEMAN GIVING THIS TO HIS WIFE BUT IT IS FROM ITALY SO MAYBE A HEARTBROKEN WOMEN TRAVELED TO ITALY AND BOUGHT THIS FOR HERSELF AS A  GIFT.

SAT AM CATCHING UP ON PICTURES AND  THOUGHTS. NEED TO BE READING BUT SO MUCH PLEASURE IN IMAGES DEFINETLY RAISES .  LAST NIGHT WENT TO EAT AT THE JUNGLE WITH MARSHA MARY SEMISE LINDA. I HAD CHICKEN KIEV. THEY DEFINETLY DO NOT HAVE THE BEST FOOD BUT THE SALAD WAS GOOD. THEY GAVE IT TO US COMPLIMENTERY WITH LITTLE PEASES OF BREAD. THEN WE WENT TO  PENNYLANE COFFEE HOUSE TO HEAR NATASHAS FRIEND SING. ANDREA SHE WAS VERY GOOD I THINK I COULD LIVE IN A COFFEE HOUSE. I USED TO LOVE THE FISHERMANS WHARF IN CARMI.  I WANT TO DO SOMETHING CREATIVE DRAW OR WORK ON MY JEWELRY BUT ALSO I WANT TO READ. GOING TO FIX A HAM SALAD SANDWICH AND TOMATO SOUP YUM. COMFORT FOOD FOR SURE.  I LOVE THE PEACE AND QUIET AND BEING SURROUNDED BY THE THINGS I LOVE.

Antique Hand Blown Iridescent Glass on Spelter Base. Bronze/purple glass/spelter Bowl w/ruffled rim w/maidens pouring water, all on ornate base. Fair condition base has crack 3/4" on both sides. 8" x 9 1/2".
